Fayose Meet His Bail Conditions, Regains His Freedom From EFCC Custody


Formal governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has regained his freedom from Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detention after fulfilling the terms of his bail conditions.

According to his media aide, Lere Olayinka, who shared the news on his Twitter handle, saying "Fayose just regained his freedom" he appeared at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, on Tuesday, and was granted freedom after fulfilling the conditions of his bail application.

His trial continues on November 19,2018. and he is expected to return for the continuation of the trial.

The Federal High Court in Lagos granted Fayose an N50m bail with two sureties in like sum last Wednesday.

Fayose was charged for N2.2bn fraud, brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). custody
