A young Nigerian entrepreneur from Lagos, Omotade-Sparks Amos Sewanu claimed he can use the power of blockchain technology to lift the Nigerians out of poverty. The company went as far as writing an open letter to EFCC, announcing that they have built a Nigeria-To-world Blockchain (iBLedger) which can end poverty in any country in 6-9 months.
This is important because distuption is coming to the world and it is better we give the world our version of disruption than waiting for it to sweep us unawares like Facebook Libra would have done. Said Omotade-Sparks Amos Sewanu in his letter to EFCC dated November, 2019.

According to him, the powerful thing about this charitable blockchain is that iBNaira can generate a minimum of 847 billion dollars for the Nigeria Government. iBNaira can end poverty in Nigeria in 6-9 Months paying every single citizen including babies born every data minimum sum of N120,000 monthly.

However, the website has been launched on 12 November 2019, and many Nigerians have since started to register on the platform with support from Nigerians on their Twitter handle @inksnation and registration ending on 4th January 2020. According to his letter to Nigerians.

At first, I wanted to look away but something reminded me of the beginning of Bitcoin eras when some bought one bitcoin as low as $1 dollar and as of the time of writing this post, one bitcoin worths $7000 dollars.

Basically, there is no harm in trying out new innovations with little as N700 naira.
