WhatsApp is ready to stop its support for a few older versions of Android and iOS. Android versions 2.3.7 and older, iPhone iOS 7 and older are the platforms on which WhatsApp will not work after December 31, 2019, and February 1, 2020.

The app company was reported to have said that it is stopping support for devices whose operating systems do not have the capabilities that are needed to expand the app's features.
