The company Blockstale BTN also plans to launch more than 30 more terminals across Nigeria to make it easy for users to buy bitcoin with Nigeria Naira.

Nigeria is no doubt one of the biggest cryptocurrency traders in Africa, The Chief executive and founder of Blockstale Daniel Adekunle, told the media on April 1.

"Despite all the legal uncertainties about cryptocurrencies in Nigeria, Nigerians happen to be the highest crypto traders in Africa. Blockstale BTM was developed specially to facilitate adoption, transparency, and security in Nigeria" said Daniel Adekunle CEO of Blockstale.

Nigerian Bitcoin ATM Is The 15th in the African Continent

Nigeria is the eighth country in the continent to host a Bitcoin ATM by Blockstale BTN making it the 15th in Africa.

According to CoinATMRadar, South Africa has seven crypto ATMs, Ghana hosts two, and Botswana, Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe having a single ATM each.

With this development in Nigeria, cryptocurrencies might see broader adoption across the country and the continent as Nigeria comprising Africa's larger economy and population.
