 Elon Musk's Tweet Just Pushed Dogecoin Market Cap to $3 billion higher, on Wednesday, April 28 Dogecoin price surged over 23% on crypto exchange Binance shortly after another supportive tweet by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Messari's senior research analyst Mira Christanto had this about the effect of Musk's tweet on the Dogecoin price:


As usual, Elon Musk has continued to push his weight in support to promote Dogecoin follow by another billionaire Dallas Mavericks majority owner Mark Cuban who has been promoting Dogecoin recently on his Twitter handle and during interviews.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, who seems to be Dogecoin's biggest fan, is referring in his tweet to his upcoming (May 8) appearance as the guest host of American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (SNL)

 Like Musk, the billionaire investor and entrepreneur Mark Cuban also talked about Dogecoin during an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", where he said that although Dogecoin had started as a "cryptocurrency joke", it is now "becoming a "digital currency".

 However, many people are now showing interest in Dogecoin recently just as Anthony Sassano said, who is the Product Marketing Manager at Set Labs, Co-Founder of ETH Hub, and the Co-host of the "into the Ether" podcast.

Currently, the Dogecoin price is around $0.3124 as of the time of writing this post, which means it is up by 14.37% in the past 24 hour period.
