Telegram released upgrade version that supports group video calls

Telegram users can now make group video calls after the tech company released an upgrade that supports group video call and voice call.

Users have to initiate a group voice call and then tapping the camera icon will automatically place you in a group video call.

According to the Telegram upgrade version, there are no limits to the number of group voice call participants on telegrams but group video calls are limited to 30 people for now and would be adjusted later run.

Some of the features of the Telegram upgrade are sharing the camera feed,  you can also share your screen with others on the video calls. And these are supported on smartphones, tablets and desktops, by default your entire displays are shared. On desktop, users have a choice of sharing the entire screen or a particular window.

However, aside from the video call features, there is now support for animated backgrounds, which is a first for a messaging app. The background features spinning colour patterns that animate every time you send a message. This animated background is fairly light on resources so they won't bog down your performance or consume too much power claimed Telegram.
