"This affects multiple wallets- Phantom, slope, Solflare, TrustWallet- across a wide variety of platforms. FOR USERS, please move your assets to a hardware ledger or a centralized exchange".
Said per blockchain auditor OtterSec adding that
"there's also been evidence of this issue affecting ETH users, although it seems less widespread."
A Twitter user named Justin Barlow confirmed the incident as he lament his USDC had been drained.
However, A spokesperson for Solana Labs Austin Federa said that ongoing investigations into the breach currently indicate that there is "no evidence" that Solana's network is at fault for the exploit.For reference I haven't interacted with any contracts at all in ~40 days. He made it known that "Engineers from multiple ecosystems with the help of several security firms are investigating drained wallets on Solana Network. There is no evidence hardware wallets are impacted."
