Trust Wallet integrates WalletConnect V2 to includes EVM to it functions.

The popular crypto wallet 'Trust Wallet announced the integration of WalletConnect V2 to expand the dApp function on its platform.

Trust Wallet is one of the best and most reliable decentralized mobile crypto wallets that gives sole complete control over asset stored on it, Trust Wallet is owned by Binance.

To keep improving the functions of the wallet, the Trust wallet includes the integration of WalletConnect V2 to allow users to connect to EVM and non-EVM chains.

"We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our integrations to include Wallet Connect V2, allowing users to connect to EVM and non-EVM chains supported by Trust Wallet like Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot and many others. This innovation integration exceptionally improves interoperability enabling users to connect to hundreds of dApps built on different Blockchains while providing a much faster and more secure web3 experience.

What is EVM
The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is a piece of software that executes smart contracts and computes the state of the Ethereum network after each new block is added to the chain. The EVM sits on top of Ethereum's hardware and node network layer.

The EVM uses a stake-based architecture and a word size of 256 bits. The 256-bit word size allows the EVM to facilitate native hashing and elliptic curve operations that ensure funds can be spent only by their rightful owners.

This integration will also allow users to connect their trust wallet to more than one dApp at a time, providing them with the ability to interact with multiple dApps on different chains simultaneously.

The head of product at Trust Wallet Eric Chang said, "a core part of our mission is to provide seamless accessibility for people who want to benefit from what web3 had to offer. Seller Connect V2 is an obvious piece of the puzzle as it not just allows for better interoperability with the growing number of dApps and Blockchains, but also provides enhanced usability and security features."
