Ice Network Mining Ends, Millions of Miners Accounts Disabled

Ice quiz

Ice Network, one of the popular cryptocurrency mining apps, has declared that it will no longer mine Ice coins on the app. The developer has firmly stated that Ice mining, which is phase 1 of the project, demands an enormous amount of attention from the team as well as a significant amount of money, not less than $50,000 per month. Hence, they have resolutely decided to focus on the mainnet.

Furthermore, ice is preparing for the final distribution of the ice token to the eligible miners. Below are the steps to follow to be eligible for the final distribution:

1. Miners must add their BnB wallet address to receive ice Coins.
It's a must for all Snowmen, if you don't do it before February 28th you'll lose all your money.

2. The deducted amount is your pre-staking reward, all your mining amount is safe

3. You can use Okx wallet, Metamask wallet, or Trust wallet.

4. Pass the test: All users must successfully pass the test available in the app.

5. Tap to mine: Even though mining is stopped, users must continue to tap the Ice button in the app every 24 hours to avoid being slashed before February 28.

Failure to complete these steps will result in users losing their right to distribute Ice coins.

Earlier this month in a struggle to stabilize the listed ice coin, the developers implemented an unfavourable KYC method for its miners which came with backlash from the community.

The KYC method is by introducing a mandatory ice network project quiz where users have three chances to pass 21 questions within 10 minutes and with a two-week period grace. Failure to pass the quiz within the time frame given leads to the user's account being disabled.

Millions of ice miners have tried the quiz and failed and their accounts were disabled, this prompted outrage in the community.

In a harsh response from the ice developers, said anyone found assisting any member his or her account will be disabled too.

However, Marjid one of the top miners on the ice app got caught up and his account was also disabled while supporting those who failed the quiz and asking the ice developer to give them another chance.

Is ice Network on the right track with this move toward its community?
